Saturday the sun was out. The sky was blue. The temps were warm-ish. It was a great day for a ride. We hit Frank's trail. On the SS it was a pain cave, but I managed to ride a lot of the climb. The trail was in mostly good condition, although the warmer temps had thawed out some of the mud, creating some nice goo in spots.

Also, my site is not loading properly in Safari. I will try and figure out why, but in the meantime use Firefox.

Tim's flat tires are a regular occurrence.

Have you noticed any impact to your knees from riding the single speed? It sounds like fun and a great way to develop more power but it seems anytime I start grinding a big gear my knees ache. I guess I'm just a wimp! :)

Love your pictures.

I haven't noticed any knee ache yet, although after a steep hard climb on the SS my back is a bit sore.

Lots more standing on the SS which eases the pain on the knees. After a year I can push a 52" gear sitting up some hills but still a lot of standing.

IE on a PC here at work blows up with the new layout too...
