KTReady?
One week to go until the KTR. Am I ready? As ready as I will ever be. I went on a short ride with my 3.0X all loaded up and even at 15lbs it was pretty comfortable. On race day it will probably be around 18lbs. I think more water is better than less water. Tomorrow is the XC race out at 5 Mile Pass. That is a painful race, but one of my favorite in the series. Lots of tough rolling climbs on wide open fast jeep roads. I will post a report about it tomorrow evening. Good luck to everyone else lining up this weekend!

The 3.0X all loaded up...

...and ready to roll

Wow the 3.0 looks big. Prolly feels light though with the lowrider harness and all. The 2.5 feels super light even when loaded to the gills.

Are you going with or without the MP3? I can't decide...

I will have the mp3 player. I think I will wait to fire it up until the wee hours of the night when I will most likely be all by my lonsesome.

Wow 15lbs. That's what my LT100 pack weighed last year and it was way too much. If that's comfortable with a wingnut I am going to have to get one. How much weight could you shift to the bike with a big seat bag?
