There and Back Again
We (Keith, Chris & K.C, Brad) left Utah county at 6 AM. By 9:30 AM we had met up with Fred and were all climbing sand flats road. And by 7 PM I was home again.

Porcupine Rim was in great shape, except for all the rocks. Rigid bikes and Porc. Rim are not good bedfellows. I was feeling like a human jack-hammer on the way down, and then I went over the bars. I laid on the rock I landed on and groaned for a few minutes.

The worst part of the trip though? I lost my camera. It survived the ride, but somehow vanished when I was getting packed and changed afterward. I had some good pictures from the day on it....

It was nice to escape a rainy and snowy Wasatch, and enjoy some desert riding. The RR is in two weeks, so it was good to get back in the Moab riding state of mind.
